About us
Our story
Leland House began in 2021 with the needs of young women — and their families — in mind. Inspired by their own experience and the challenges young women face today, a group of professional women and local families came together to make Leland House possible. Open to people of all races, ages, beliefs and backgrounds, we seek to make a positive impact on the world by equipping young women with the faith formation, leadership and professional skills they need to make courageous decisions, live generously, and grow in understanding — one person at a time.
The programs offered by Leland House are inspired by the life and teachings of St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei. The mission of Opus Dei is to help people turn their daily activities and work into occasions of loving God, serving others, and improving society. The spiritual and doctrinal aspects of activities sponsored by Leland House are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.
Mission
Leland House, in cooperation with families, helps young women to develop flourishing and generous lives. Classes and times of prayer, one-on-one mentoring and service activities, focused study and adventures, are all designed to help young women to grow in faith, friendship, and a sense of purpose.
Vision
Our world needs women of integrity and faith to lead with purpose.
Leland House seeks to create an environment that helps every girl to grow personally and professionally, achieving authentic success in the challenges she faces.
